I've already reviewed the Kellerhaus as a store and attraction, just went there again and it is still the same as always. This time I am just reviewing the ice cream buffet sundae experience. Went there with my wife, daughter and granddaughter. They have quite a varied menu, you can get ice cream alone in cups or cones, various sizes,... More

We decided to stop by the Kellerhaus yesterday, on one of the first nice days of the year. I'm really glad we did! They have so many beautiful items for sale, including a lot of local made NH products. The ladies working on the candy bar were so knowledgeable about their products, and happy to discuss them with us. We... More

I will confess to some sadness at the closing of Franken Sundae but when I discovered Kellerhaus was still in business I brought my son on over to it. Choose your scoops (up to 10?!) and then dress it out with the toppings of your choice. But don't forget that their marshmallow and butterscotch are amazing. And the whipped cream... More

I stopped in to find out about the ice cream sundae buffet advertised. It was interesting. Only the hot sauces were covered and this was early in the AM, all the cold toppings were exposed. Not many people buying ice cream before noon. Then the silly thing to me, was that they closed at 6:00. Right when most people would... More

Known for its handmade chocolate, I find it only average. Also known for its make-your-own sundae bar, I find it average with only a few flavors of ice cream. There are nice rooms of gifts to browse so it is a great place to visit for that. The prices are high throughout because of the clientele. Tourists love to stop... More

This is one of those places we try to hit up every year we come up to the Lake. It dates way back and has lots of history and memories. However, my teens are older now and can appreciate better ice cream. They have simple flavors and don't give you much. The ice cream buffet booth is so-so and the... More

One scoop or 2 and toppings galore, or maybe have the ice cream buffet. Not to mention all the typical tourist junk to entice.
