This red theatre building is great. Theatres are scarce around here anyway. The place is seasonal though, summers only.

Our daughter was in the intern program at Weathervane this summer, so we came up to see five shows, all of which were amazing! The venue is tremendous and all of the performers are top-notch. If you love theater, I highly recommend that you catch a show at the Weathervane next summer.

I live in Whitefield and have been buying a season pass to the Weathervane every year for the past 3 summers. I've seen every show and have not been disappointed yet.

We happened upon the theatre on our way to the B&B in Jefferson. How lucky for us. They have 8 shows in rotation and the next night was To Kill A Mockingbird. Tickets are very reasonable ($35) and the production was amazing. I've seen the movie and read the book and still found myself totally engaged in Tom Robinson's trial.... More

We went to opening night of Mama Mia! The playhouse itself is quite nice, and the staff that works the front office was great. There aren't really any bad seats in the house. It's not air conditioned, though, so dress appropriately. The show itself was very inconsistent. The woman who played Donna was fantastic, as were many of the supporting... More

I've seen 3 productions this season and going to my 4th on Sat. Afternoon. They were all excellent. I have to say Fiddled on the roof was my favorite. The production put on last Sat. By the Windsock campers was excellent. Can't say enough about the Weathervane theater.

Cast and facilities were great. All seats are good. Live orchestra too! Only open in the Summer for Shows. Can be a bit loud given the size of the room. Great evening out if in the area.

My son and I saw Fiddler On The Roof. The cast performance was very good! The theater was old and quaint. We were on vacation in northern Vermont and we were surprised to find this gem! We will return to watch another performance!

The talent in these shows is superb. This is a little local theatre that brings in talent through interviewing in New York City. The shows rotate so there is a different show just about every night which is wonderful when you are visiting the area because we got to see more than one show during our stay. We go here... More
