My family and I have come here every year for the past 5 years. While not luxurious, it is very cute and incredibly accommodating. We rent a 2 bedroom condo, which includes a full kitchen, a lofted bedroom, a master bedroom, and a living room (as well as a screened porch). We golf every year, prices are reasonable and the... After reading all the not so good reviews we were a bit hesitant to try playing here. But was pleasantly surprised to find the course in very good condition. The greens were in great shape , fairways a little rough in some places. River and mountain views helped make for a very enjoyable round. Some players complain about the course... More

Husband is a golfer...I am not. We decided to golf during the weekday. I was the designated cart driver. The course is beautiful and has several areas that are right along the rolling river. it's not glamorous, but the greens are nice and clean and it was very nicely layed out. The weather was perfect! Nice staff too!

We were a group of 8. We stayed in two condos, both ok but dated. Beds were comfortable and condos were clean. We didn't get the meal plan, so we cannot comment on the food. The golf was very good. Course was in good shape except for one hole that had a temp green. I have read a few reviews... More

Four of us stayed here as we attended the NH Highland Games. Easy drive to Loon mountain from the Jack O Lantern. The management should spruce up the place (including the office), get rid of the hideous wall hangings and replace some of the uncomfortable mattresses. How in this day and age hotels/motels don't understand that their patrons just want... More

This golf course could rate as one of the poorest I've ever seen. The worst part, I paid $60 for 18 holes and a cart. Most of the greens had large dead grass spots. Some holes have live electrical poles or support wires in the fairways. The fairways were nothing more than weeds cut short. One hole had weeds and... More

Jack O Lantern was once a very nice user friendly resort golf course. The layout is very attractive, and fun to play. Storms and flooding over the past 5 years have taken their toll on this once beautiful track. We played on July 5, 2014, paid $66 each with cart, then informed 5 holes were closed due to flooding that... More

Despite the horrible flooding experienced this season, which affected the 9 holes that are on river side, the golf course was nice and fun to play. Only one hole is still under maintenance. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Lots of room in their condos.
