This is a lovely walk amid the marshes. Many varied birds frequent the area. Just be aware it is hot...no shade so be prepared. Also lovely in fall during the migration!

Amazing work of the Conservancy and ACOE to reclaim a flooded freshwater marsh inundated following human folly and wicked storms. Wonderful birding along well laid walking trails around ponds designed for water control and habitat enhancement for various species including the piping plovers. Do visit...More

Beach and marsh habit. Plenty of oystercatchers and laughing gulls. as well as a large variety of shore birds.

Fairly well maintained nature area and hiking trail on the south end of NJ. Parking is a little bit limited but never packed, and you can follow the trails all the way to the Cape May Point lighthouse and park.

Flat, easy hike around marshes. Lots of water fowl, even in winter time. Sea breeze with sound of the ocean is very relaxing.

This place is open now and what a blessing. If it's only to get your steps in for your fit bit or to soak in nature this is the place to do it.

Was here for the birding festival and visited here as one of the guided tours with a naturalist. Lots to see! Highly recommended!

This is a great place for birding. Check the schedule for guided walks that are available there several times a week.

We had trouble finding it at first too! We had help finding it going to the nature conservancy website (sorry, tried to insert the direct link for you but the Trip Advisor site prohibits it). It's in South Cape... More
Some reviews state that parking is not free. Please explain where the free parking is for your hotel. Also, pool hours. We will be traveling on Christmas day. Does that change anything, such as restaurant hours or pool hours? Is breakfast included? Thanks.

Hi Mom-Mom23 The Meadows I reviewed is a great bird sanctuary in Cape May. You are looking at a hotel, I think. Sorry. But if in Cape May, definitely go to this sanctuary. Cheers TommyBoy94
