My boyfriend and I walked the boardwalk from the Cape May Convention Center to Poverty Beach. The view of the lighthouse was beautiful. The beach was empty and the waves were calm. Poverty Beach is great for walking and just relaxing!

Less hectic, lovely beach at the end of Cape May... good for couples. No access to food, drinks, etc. Free parking in many places.

Gorgeous beach, very clean, isolated even in the middle of August which is a plus for me, since I don't care for the crowds or rowdiness of the summer crowd. Great spot to just relax and take in its serenity.

I swear the water is more blue at this beach than anywhere else on Cape May. Not as crowded as the other beaches, and also has a comfort station which is a plus. I have often left other parts of the beach to come here...More

This beach feels quite private and is swarming with dophin in their natural habitat. It's lovely-clean, peaceful, and the views are unbeatable.
