$10.00 for a pound of Boars Head bacon!!! That was 2 years ago, guess I have to get an armored truck. Country atmosphere is grand, just deli prices are a joke. Good for parties, apple picking is fun. Their home made sugar donuts are to die for. I miss the large ones from years ago. The way of the world. I also miss the "Bakers Dozen" . Their home made pies are 1st in Vernon. Peach, Apple, Pumpkin are to drool over. Just give them a few days warning before big holidays. Just like "Grandma Used to Make".

Not much choice of baked goods. Most items were expensive. Only 2 choices of pies. The apple pie was nothing to rave about. Many items for holiday decorating.

A Family Tradition
Oct 2019
A place I have been since I was younger and continue to go to now even in my early 20's post college. A picturesque drive, plenty of parking, and the best apple cider doughnuts around. Friendly staff and great apples and a very quaint general store where I always grab doughnuts, cider, and local honey. To get to the orchard there are hills but you can take the wagon up for $1 if needed! Best place to go for apple picking and a nice day of fall activities!

Probably the best Rueben and butternut squash soup I have ever eaten. They have their own cider -yum! Neat homey store in a beautiful town neat an Appalachian trail head.

This place has the best apple cider and apple donuts around!!!!! I don't really know the quality of their cold cuts but the apple cider is absolutely fantastic as well as the donuts that they make themselves! Their mac salad is pretty good too!

Busy, but Friendly

A real nice place that is a pricy U-pick with some hilly terrain (tough on youngsters).

The general store is a real throwback that we enjoyed.

Apple Picking

Beautiful view of Fall foliage. Well marked trees, not at all crowded on a weekday afternoon. Delicious fresh gourds for sale.

Love the cider and breakfast too! This place has treasures inside, make sure you stop in and check it out. Don't forget to take a pic with the greeting rooster too.

Apple picking fun
Sep 2015 • Couples
Spent a week in New Jersey at the end of September to visit family. This outing has become somewhat of a tradition. Enjoyed nice weather, beautiful views and the start of the autumn leaves changing. The apples were plentiful, but a bit on the small side, even with the variety of apples to pick. We went with our daughter, who recently started working with her new service dog. He was welcomed by the Farm and he behaved very well.
