Sharrott is a favorite of my wife and I and many of our friends and family. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, the live entertainment there is always great, and the wine is (in my opinion) the best in NJ. A must visit for any and all wine lovers!

Visited with my Mrs., son, sons' wife. Me and the Mrs. Were visiting from NC. Carl made our visit exceptionally enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and made suggestions which enabled us to taste many different wines. Much larger selection of wines than we have experienced in NC. Wines are reasonably priced. Unfortunately , they don't give senior discounts! Lol

To fill time in the area, we decided to do a wine tasting at Sharrott Winery. For $8 pp, you can taste up to 6 wines and keep the glass. For an additional fee, you can purchase a cheese platter. The only downside is the indoor space. It's small and lacks bar stools to really enjoy and relax if you... More

My favorite winery of all time! I'm a member of their free wine club, where you get 4 free wine tastings with each visit, and 3x a year a box of 4 bottles at a discount. you also get 20% off each of their very affordable wines. Fantastic friendly staff serves everything quickly, too. I only wish they were closer... More

We went and did a tasting on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Arden did our tasting and she was very pleasant and was fun to talk with. The wine was not very good. The riesling was good, but the rest was not very good!

I went to the Sharrott Winery on Sunday, October 16th with two of my close friends. We had the pleasure of doing our wine tastings with the owner Larry Sharrott. The wines were delicious and the atmosphere at Sharrott was very relaxing. We sat outside and listened to music sipping our wine. I would recommend this winery. We had a... More

We visited Sharrott Winery as part of the SJ wine tour. Very nice landscaping and newer buildings with stainless steel, modern wine vats. The owner was very nice and talked to us about his winery and equipment. The $8 tasting fee included 6 wine tastings and a glass engraved with Sharrott on it. Not very large pours, but tasty. It... I have visited every single winery in New Jersey, have completed TWO wine passports and I must say that Sharrott is by the far best in the state. Here's why: 1. FREE, high quality live music on a consistent basis. Unlike many wineries, they never charge an admission fee to their music events and book talented local artists. 2. Excellent... More
