We went to six flags especially for the safari. It was incredible. We didn't expect it to see so many animals. You don't drive your car anymore now you travel on a truck. we got off the truck at the halfway mark and we saw the giraffes up close , fed them , and even took a picture with them.... More

Six flags is where it's at!!! If your into thrill rides and a whole lot of family fun. You have to go too six flags NJ. No doubt!! We bought season passes for the first time and we figured if you go twice it pays for itself plus in the summer they have a water park!! Then fright fest and... More

I know the lines are long and the kids are hot or tired and don't want to wait but if they can just hold it out, it's definitely worth it all!!!! I saw more animals and learned more than I would at my local zoos, there's a stop 1/2 way through, get out and feed the giraffes, look at snacks... More

The safari is a great place for the kids to see animals. Make sure the doors are locked as kids get excited and some animals are loss and may come up to the car.

Awe and joyful to have a true encounter with the living zoo animals. Some of them roaming around like the giraffes peeking at our sun roof window. Friends asked where is this real encounter with animals. It is not in disney but in six flags - a discovery.

The last time I was in the safari I drove my own car through the compound, they changed that, now they put in big trucks and drive you around the park. This was I don't have monkeys pulling parts off my car. Interesting but with the cooler weather some animals are getting ready to hibernate. I think if some of... More

There's a very long 2 hour wait in the sun & heat to board the Jeep for the Safari but it is the best feature at Six Flags. Lions, bears, old elephants, & some extinct animals. Get in line 1st when you arrive & be prepared to walk long distances to get there. Water park requires separate ticket, don't waste... More

Unlike other Safaris in the United States, you can see animals up close. It was a good experience for any zoologist.

Kids love the Safari. Warning if you want to visit the Safari you ha e to be on the line 3 hours before sundown before they close it down. It does not run until the park closes. Take note of my advice.
