This was an overwhelming and emotional memorial. Well worth the price and time. Brace yourself for the emotions to flow, hearing and seeing the story unfold. The movies are Well worth the time.

Really beautiful and different memorial. Great design that makes you experience the disappearances of the twin towers. Also great views of the new skyline. We walked from Jersey City, long but relaxing. You can catch the ferry back to Warren Street.

If you're visiting Liberty State Park, then you should take a few moments to see the 9/11 memorial. It's right by the historic 1830s train station. By the entrance you have some pieces from the Twin Towers, and then behind that the memorial with the...More

I wish I could have spent more time here, reflecting on the tragedy and loss of lives. I thought this was a beautiful way to honor those who lost their lives on that sad day.

It is a nice memorial to all of the victims of 9/11. I didn’t walk down and read off all of the names.

Nice tribute to the lives lost on 9/11 from Jersey City, very simple tribute, but a bit powerful. Memorial has the listing of names etched on the wall, and also one of the steel beams from the towers. You can see this memorial at Liberty...More

A very touching memorial for 9/11 and the residents of JC that perished. Was not aware of this memorial and recommend seeing.

New jersey has its own 9/11 memorial, with the names of all the people who lost their lives on that tragic day etched on this memorial. Nothing gaudy but it is simple and powerfully conveys its message

This memorial is very simply yet beautifully done. When you stand in the middle and look up, all you see is the sky. Then turn east and look at where the original towers stood. It doesn't need much more than that.

Yes, there is a free area to park for a limited time to park which is enough for the memorial. If you want to go to Ellis and/or Liberty Island you will need to park in the paid lot.

Very accessible parking lot is close to the memorial. We got confused and paid to park in the wrong lot. Drive past the pay lot to memorial parking. The views on a clear day are quite something.
