We are science nerds and were sucked in by the promise of "the largest planetarium in the western hemisphere." It isn't a planetarium. It's a standard Imax theater. We were so disappointed, especially after taking the subway to the Port Authority Terminal, then a bus...More

We love a good science museum and Liberty Science museum is a pretty good one. A lot of clean fun displays! We have a range of kids from 7-14, all of us have fun.

We love the LSC and have been going there for years! The yearly family membership is worth investing in as the exhibits change. The planetarium is amazing. Great location for the entire family!

Great place to explore on your own but DO NOT have a birthday party there. Your children will be confined to a room for TWO hours with party hosts who allow way too much free time. Not very structured but it IS very expensive. After...More

As you would expect, the museum was crowded with class trips. However, this was not a problem. We were able to participate in all the exhibits we wanted to and a few more. Almost everything is hands-on and almost all of it actually worked! I...More

We had a bad experience here, as we came here as a group of three adults, nobody told us that there was almost nothing interesting for us, not even when getting tickets that are really overpriced. Also parking is expensive at 7 Dollars. As already...More
