The spa is awful
We got our hair done and it was an awful experience. I cannot believe the women working there are so horrible at taking requirements and messing it up. Do not even try to go here. They act like they know what they are doing and the outcome was horrible. What a waste of money.

Labor Day Disappointment
Sep 2020
I was looking forward to a long weekend at the Beach. Since there is a pandemic I checked the site for special Covid instructions. Masks were required for everyone in the hotel! That did not happen. I complained to the Supervisor but nothing was done. He said they "try". No staff approached anyone in the facility without a mask. I did not see door handles being wiped down, people outside on the grounds were crowded together without masks. I was unable to get off the beach because the path to the hotel was blocked by guests at a wedding not wearing masks. We had to call the manager to get it cleared. Very disappointed, also, no social distancing in the pool. The price very high for an average room. Will not got back.

Quite unsatisfactory!

I made a reservation for an 80 minute Swedish massage and a mani/pedi for yesterday. When I arrived, I was "greeted" at a desk in the hallway outside the spa door by a not very friendly employee (it turns out she was the masseuse). She took my temperature, then gave me forms to complete, including one for Covid . I asked her how am I supposed to fill these out when there is nowhere to sit. She proceeds to direct me to a table that had a used glass on it. When I balked about sitting there, she told me to go to the adjacent table. That one had two half-filled plastic cups of coffee sitting there. You are going to take my temp, interrogate me on Covid, make me wear a mask before, after and during the treatment and you don't clean up this kind of mess?? Massage itself was just ok, nothing spectacular. I get back to the locker room to change back into my clothes and see that less that 70 minutes had elapsed since the start of the message. Meaning I was gypped by over 10 minutes! I complained to the receptionist and she only charged me for the 50 minute treatment, which was very fair, but I wanted the full 80 minutes!!
Then came the nail treatments. Pedi was ok, during the mani, the manicurist had trouble with the gel light, was more interested in talking with another employee, didn't even do the best part which was the creme hand massage.
I was so done with this place by the time I went to pay and had no intention of leaving a generous tip. But guess what, they add on 18% automatically! So NOT deserved! When I got home I looked at their website and saw this stated, so it was my bad I didn't see it when I made my reservations but it made me even more angry.
In summary, this place is overpriced and overrated and I would certainly not recommend it to anyone!

Spa disaster
I planned a Valentines day spa day here.
I was toying with the idea of making it a weekend event but decided against that due to their high prices.
We are somewhat local so I figured spa day would work. Scheduled pedicures for my wife and I. That's the only spa thing I can handle but I also booked a facial for my wife. I figured I could hang in the relaxation room or indoor pool.
Got a call in the morning that our pedicures were cancelled because the pedicurist had pink eye.
Well, that turned my plans upside down. We went anyway and my wife enjoyed her overpriced facial and I read in the relaxation room.
The place seemed old and run down, so I'm glad I did not get a room.

A Nice Getaway$$$
Aug 2019
My wife and I spent over three hours recently at the spot and we enjoyed it very much. We had the couples getaway massage with a salt scrub and lavender soak. Each session was exemplary and we found all of the staff to be very professional and courteous and, at appropriate times, rather funny and very welcoming. We did like the refreshments in the quiet area and while we did not use the steam or sauna the area appeared to be well maintained and clean.

The sessions were right on time and they do everything that they can to make you feel very welcome.

One thing that was on the negative side is that after spending almost $1000 on the spa service they would not permit us to spend some time poolside since we were not staying at the hotel. Really? After such a nice session we just wanted to lounge around the pool and have a few cocktails. We ended up paying $90 for the both of us to stay at the pool and probably spent well over that in cocktails and something to eat. The spa may want to perhaps look at the bigger picture and offering a more robust presentation to its customers, practically those that are utilizing its services to such an extent. This lack of foresight caused us to pull back on giving it five stars.

The Spa and amenities were amazing! 10/10 would reccomend!
My boyfriend and I are down for the week and wanted an all day spa experience. Every single staff member we interacted with were amazing and super friendly. In the spa, everything was absolutely beautiful. I was relaxed the moment we stepped foot in the spa. Christine and Michelle performed our couples massage and it was beyond relaxing for us first timers! The aromatherapy was the perfect addition, I would reccomend! As for the salon, Ramona and Nancy were both wonderful and very personable. They both completely revived our overworked nails. Ramona even came in on her day off to help my boyfriend and I get our couples spa experience! All in all, it was well worth the cost. Access to the outdoor pool/jacuzzi and beach were a perfect ending to the experience.

Fantastic end to my stay

Was at this hotel for a business meeting and decided to book the Refresher package on my last day before a long flight home. Had an excellent service but I simply had to write a review because my massage therapist, George, was absolutely wonderful. His technique was incredible. I’d highly recommend booking a massage with George!

Charged for a service I didn’t book!
Jul 2019 • Friends
I already left a bad review on the resort itself but now I want to focus on the manager and the spa. Not only was the general manager ROBERT extremely rude and unhelpful and mimicked me when I spoke, but the spa manager Maureen charged me over $1,000 for a service that I never booked in the first place. Someone else in my party booked a spa service and because there was a mixup with her, I got charged when the spa booking wasn’t even connected to my room booking. I never authorized them to charge my room and not sure how they were even allowed to charge me when one booking wasn’t connected to the other and didn’t have my name associated with it! Very disappointed in this resort I will be contacting the general manager and the CEO of this company. DO NOT VISIT THIS RESORT AND WE’RE NOT THE ONLY PARTY THAT WAS COMPLAINING WHILE WE WERE THERE.

work Christmas Party
Dec 2018
It was a great weekend getaway in December. It was cold outside but it was still nice to walk along the boardwalk and to go into the shops and restaurants nearby, The view from the room was OK. The rooms are in need of updating. The main lobby was very nice and appears to have been renovated recently.
