Saw a band called "Spare Parts" do an evening of the music of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. I was blown away. Excellent musicians and a very nice venue, small, intimate, only 500 seats, so there is not a bad seat in the house. This...More

Visited this theatre with a bus group.. Place itself is quite small for the amount of patrons. Noticed parking is sparse . Major issues are the restrooms. The main facility is right off the lobby , next to the concession stand. 3 stalls in the...More

This old movie theater now shows plays and concerts. It is not very big, so all the seats are good. There is plenty of free parking in the lot right outside or on Main Street. Try Remington’s or Blend on Main or Squan Tavern for...More

I've been there about a dozen times and have yet to see a show I didn't enjoy. We just went to see "White Christmas", probably the best show I've seen there yet, but I enjoyed Damn Yankess, South Pacific. Their dancers are talented and the...More

When my children were small, I used to bring them to the education series shows, and as they've grown, we've enjoyed many performances at the Algonquin Arts Theatre. There is no such thing as a bad seat in this venue, and the performances are very...More

I actually think the singer doing the Patsy Cline songs was better than Patsy Cline herself originally. This singer had a richer, clearer voice. and did the songs spot on as Patsy did them. It was a great show.
