Nice selection of fruity wines

The owner shared with us a personal history of the winery while we were sampling. Most of what we sampled were fruity sweet wines along with a few of the drier variety. Very tasty.

Bojan is the owner and will go through the wines. It is by far the best winery in the area. Prices are great for the quality and bouquet and it is a must stop for your wines.

Both visits to this winery left us happy. For an NJ winery, the owner/wine maker makes fantastic wines. Usually, we find the reds at local wineries to be awful, but his reds are very good. He also makes a wide selection of fruit wines that are delicious. Whatever he does, he does right. His tastings are generous and give us... More

Would never step foot in there again. Arrogant ,nasty and rude. Wouldn't go if they were giving cases of wine away! Hope if you go, you have better luck. Too many good wineries to choose from rather be insulted by this owner. Sorry this is so negative but we had a bad experience just asking questions to the owner......by the... More

Visited the day of a festival and all their wines were available and we're tasty. They had food and music all for free. Worth the visit as they have a nice assortment to choose from.

I sampled several of the wines at the Seafood & Music festival in Wildwood on Columbus Day weekend. I purchased a bottle of the blueberry for just under $12.00. The next day I was in Cape May and noticed the wine was also sold at Cape May Cigars however they charged six dollars more for the same blueberry wine. (Which... More

We first learned of Balic at a home show, meeting Bojan Boskovic, nephew of the original owner, Savo Balic, a vine-grower from the Adriatic Sea who migrated to the US in the 1960's. Bojan was so enthusiastic we decided to make a trip to the vineyard and winery in Mays Landing, South Jersey. The winery is conveniently located on Rt.... More

I just got back from wine tasting with my wife at Balic Winery. The whole experience was terrible. First of all, they only have 3 dry red wines on their tasting menu and they all tasted the same, like they had 1 batch and just poured it into different bottles and labeled it differently. Then I went on to the... More
