This is a beautiful place no matter when you visit. I have been going there for decades now. Great for kids and people with dogs.

Exploring the area and ended up here. Lovely place for a morning stroll even in November. The garden beds are mostly ready for winter but the roadways, grassy areas and trails were still very walkable and tranquil.

This place is HUGE! Seriously! It doesn't look like it when you park the car but walk around. There is an amazing trail that goes to a reservoir. Overlooking the reservoir was beautiful.

I don't believe that any Rutgers bus goes to the arboretum. Even if a bus dropped you at the Ryders Lane entrance to the arboretum, you would have a 10-20 minute walk into the nicest part of the arboretum. Consider taking a... More
