It's up the road from where Washington crossed the Delaware, so this park is just capitalizing on that. Free to go to visitor center and museum, but there is a parking fee until Labor Day (more on weekends.) Plus, there's a $1 charge to watch...More

There's a lot to enjoy at this park! Definitely check out the visitor's center and watch the 30 minute video about the Crucial 10 Days. Then, we walked down to the ferry crossing site - very nice walk through the expansive park. The ferry house...More

The guided tour of the Ferry House was very good. The woman who provided the tour was the highlight of the visit. The visitors center is not nearly as good, with dated exhibits jumbled in the display cases. There is also no non-handicapped parking near...More

The park can be toured in less than an hour. The highlight for me was walking down to the river to see the actual crossing site.

This park always has something going on. You can even run into George Washington roaming the grounds. In winter there is a reenactment of the. Crossing. This time of year, wildflowers and depictions of colonial life. Inexpensive way to amuse kids.

Trails not kept up. No soap in bathrooms. Beautiful landscape. Nice house where General Washington regrouped after crossing Delaware.

I have walking issues and have stayed on the PA side and parked close to the visitors center and walked just short distances to see some of the bldgs.
