I discovered this museum by accident after reading about off-beat things to do along the Jersey coast -- and what a terrific find. I was worried that it might not be designed for adults, but I was pleasantly surprised that there was more than enough...More

We learned some cool stuff & touched a scorpion! Ate some fried bugs! We were all entertained. We won at the cockaroach races as well.

I have been there a few times for parties and other events, I thought it would be dark and freaky. I do not like bugs BUT this museum is so well done! It is bright and educational. You will not get the creepy-crawlies-promise!

We had our son's 6th birthday here and they could not have been more accommodating. Great experience, we had visited here once before when it was not crowded and it was wonderful. Random place on Route 9 but worth the trip!

OK, this is a bug museum, so if you don't like bugs, stay away. I found it absolutely fascinating. Everything you can imagine is there, including some spiders bigger than your fist. Great for the kids, this will keep them interested for hours.

Very unique place but there were a few things I didn't love. The price for the size is too much, $8 per person (kids, adults and seniors). Walking super super slow it took us less than an hour to walk through. Most of the bugs...More

No instructors at this place for anyone other than camp kids overwhelming this small facility when we went with our grandson age 5. Not only did they spend all their time directing 3 big groups from room to room, but actually ignored our grandson when...More

Not at the time we went, but it might be worth giving them a call and seeing if they do now as lightning bugs are seasonal.
