Nice place to enjoy the area , learn about local history, very interesting, if you can try to go when there is some thing planned for that weekend, just about every weekend during the summer months it's busy ,,

At one time, this was a seaport. There is a 'small' village and a light house. There are seasonal activities....best one during Halloween. The grounds have 'ghosts' and 'creepy' people to scare both adults and children. Fun times! Also, at Christmas, a holiday fair.

This was a great museum. It consists of several buildings (approx 10) which you can tour. There is a lot of walking; but its mainly all flat. The main bldg. has stairs...but I think there was an elevator. We toured the entire grounds and it...More

Stopped here for the lighthouse challenge, and we were so surprised at the surroundings. There is a boardwalk, and an antique car show was going on. Apparently there are a lot of things happening here throughout the year, so we plan on coming back

it is a very small seaport.....rich in history....can be completed in a couple of hours. if you are planning on going to Smithville.....this is worth combing with that trip/
