Amazing view of New York City. Great place to take a stroll. We took family pictures so that the city was in the background

My girlfriend and I went for a walk along the Hudson Waterfront Walkway in Weehawken and discovered this wonderful pier. It is new, opening last October, and quite long. It juts out into the Hudson River for almost 500 feet, directly opposite the Empire State Building across the way. It was a little chilly the day we found it but we had to go to the end. It provides spectacular views of New York City, the Washington Bridge and the Verrazano Bridge. The view of the mansions on the cliffs of Weehawken were also amazing. If one is in that neighborhood, it might be worth while to stroll along this pier.
