I visited Addo Elephant Park with a guided game drive organised by Orange Elephant B/P. Our guide Siebert was very nice, answered all of our questions and made sure we had a good time. Right at the beginning we had a Buffalo crossing the street...More

As always a very rewarding visit with wonderful animal and bird sightings. Just so sad that people are seemingly ignorant of the dangers of getting out of their cars!

We spent several days visiting Addo entering via the South Gate, every day we intended to get to the top of the park but never made it as there was just so much to stop and watch. A truly magical time watching large herds of...More

My visit to the elephant park was a major highlight in my trip to South Africa, and I would definitely make the journey again. We stayed in a safari tent and did two guided game drives along with a self-drive. Each activity offered a different...More

This was just out standing and lovely memories made. We had ana amazing time feeding the elephants and riding them. The guides were so lovely and friendly and full of information on the elephants and the park. Highly recommend

The hotter the weather, the better the sightings of elephants. Addo elephants are not aggressive, but they are still wild and must be viewed with caution and not recklessly.

Hi Beth, yes you can most certainly drive in Addo with a station wagon, and three hours for me is to little. We stayed three nights and well worth it.You can self drive and lots of roads to choose from.
