We were on a road trip and decided to stop and see the Augrabies Falls. The staff at the gate and at reception were friendly and helpful. There are several viewing points for the Falls, all along concrete and wooden raised pathways. Well worth a stop at each of the viewing points as they have quite different views of the... More

Last visited Sept 2015. The falls are fabulous. The access decks and walkways are good. Those challenged with mobility issues will need help. The falls are awe inspiring. Drives into the park are spiritually awakening. Love this place. Well worth visiting

After booking in to stay overnight went walking down to the falls. Some very pleasant views. Tried to go on sunset drive but cancelled due to stormy weather. Next morning unable to drive through park as road flooded, thus a bit disappointed

Augrabies Falls National Park was a pleasant stop the falls is not as full as previous years as per photo's posters. Because of the dry season. But it is definitely worth while visiting and an experience and lost of viewing spots to see. We camped and the sites is large. There was a 4x4 track trough the park and take... More

Lovely, safe walkways leading to multiple viewing spots of the waterfall. The falls themselves are truly spectacular! There are a number of hikes all of different distances with beautiful views. Our children, aged 7-12, coped well on the dassie trail and enjoyed the occasional dips in the small streams. Chalets were clean and well equipped. Swimming pools and aircon were... More

Augrabies Falls National Park has always been a pleasant stop over spot for us on the way to flashier attractions like Kgalagadi National Park. This time however we chose to make the park our chief destination. Most people never venture beyond the falls, but if you set off early on your drive you will be rewarded with some satisfying game viewing... More

We camped - decent campsite with braai stands. Water available but not at each site. Ablutions were clean. The scenery was wonderful... Arid Northern Cape! Falls were awesome even in the low season - would be spectacular in flood. Game drives - there wasn't that much to see in the dry season though the scenery made up for it. We... More

The roads to and in the park are good. Access to the viewpoints is easy due to the vast network of walkways, steps and viewing platforms. The views of the falls are spectacular. Enjoy a nice cold drink in the restaurant after your excursion.

The access paths to the falls are modern and wheel chair accessible. Make sure to drive into the park as well. Allow another two hours at least. The four view points are incredible. I enjoyed Ararat the most.

We have been to Augrabies Falls a few times, first when we were on honeymoon and a few years ago when it was in flood. Powerful and memorable forever
