I ride this mountain pass on my motorbike every Friday after work to my holiday home. Very popular road on the weekends with bikers when the weather is perfect.

From Stellenbosch take the Hells Hoogte route over the mountains to Pniel. Wine farms line this pass all the way. Beautiful views and crisp air. Winding along the pass you get breath taking Mountain View’s and rows upon rows of vines. There are many places...More

Breathtaking views! Take time to stop at one of the look-out points to enjoy the view of Franschhoek valley and town.

Amazing stunning scenery. Shame about the burn in my thighs as I cycled up there! It's a tough climb but worth it for the views. I will be back!

A well maintained road and mountain pass with several pullover areas to take in views - but getting out of vehicle may be difficult depending on baboons loitering nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed the sights and valley views.
