Visited to do the boat trip on the river...really enjoyable & lots of bird life. Good choice of picnic food & wine to take on the river cruise & fish & chips available for before or after the cruise.

Worth the stop if only for the wine tasting. The venue is comfortable and the river frontage is beautiful. There is also a river boat tour available for the more 'adventurous'.

The wine tasting is free..wow!! The garlic olives and MCC is great and all of this was enjoyed at a great setting on the banks of the Breede River. A most enjoyable visit.

Good wine, better MCC... great spot with a fantastic area to enjoy the wines. The bistro also offers a limited but amazing menu apart from all the goodies you can buy to picnic on grassy river banks.. A good place for drinking wine...

While exploring Robertson we decided to stop at Viljoensdrif wine farm, we were pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous lawns and deck area. Live music, divine food and easy drinking wine! Will stop again.

Our visit to Viljoensdrift was pleasant but quite average. Nothing extremely exciting about it. We bought a few things to enjoy on the boat. Very relaxing boat trip.

We visited in the week after a local festival. The place was very quiet but staff were friendly and helpful. We badly wanted to do the boat cruise and made arrangements to pay the minimum fee for 6 guests (even though we were only four)...More

Well worth a visit. Go for a cruise on the river and create your own picnic from the deli. Or sit outside and drink wine. Highly recommend the platters as well. Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting;-)
