Went for a day out...and we were amazed at the various fynbos that was in full bloom. Amazing. The place is ckean, well maintained and staff friendly. Perfect for a family.

Honestly was the perfect day, staff so so friendly... make you feel welcome, the bathrooms could do with a revamp thou but everything else was just fine

Nothing soothes the soul or challenges the body like a visit to Helderberg. The indigenous, wild vegetation is beautiful all year round; the bird life is abundant; the trails are well-kept and lovely, and a hike to the top of the mountain is simply breathtaking...More

There are several options to take, enjoy gentle walks or for the serious hiker a walk up the Helderberg. Take the children for picnics in summer or enjoy a sunset concert on a Sunday. There is a coffee shop to indulge in after a walk

we are fortunate enough to have a mountain in our back garden that we can climb, see birds, wild flowers and enjoy all the splendour that mother nature has to offer

They co-exist quite well, and are mutually beneficial! You do not have to use the restaurant if you do want to take your own picnic
