Having previously used bali made tours a few years ago and getting outstanding service I decided to go with them again. Our driver Mr pipik was fabulous, he really made the 3 days we spent with him wonderful, so knowledgeable and spoke great English. I will definitely book with him again on my next trip to Bali.

We got a competitive rate from Bali Made Tour, so used them for our airport transfer when we landed in Denpasar. Communication was excellent (via WhatsApp) from the team and the driver, including when booking and when arranging pick ups. We used the same WhatsApp details to arrange two other journeys while on the island, including negotiating the rate, pick up times, etc. Highly recommend.
A note re transport in Bali currently - there are a lot of drivers looking for work, which means that every dollar counts for every driver. The company takes a big cut of the money you pay. So, if you find a driver you like, work with them privately, and you will make sure more of the money goes to your driver. They will appreciate it and look after you. For shorter trips in southern Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, etc), I recommend using the MyBluebird app. It provides a good estimate of cost, and allows you to book a reputable driver safely. The app doesn't work in Ubud.

I love the entire process from enquiry till the end of tour, everything was professionally handled, driver was driving safely, he is friendly and flexible to accommodate our requests. Strongly recommend Bali Made! Most importantly price is really reasonable!

What a great decision to use these guys to help us plan our Bali trip, planning our days as well as taking us around to see whatever we wanted, at all times (including 2 30am to start a long day!!) Yanthi was so helpful from a planning perspective, able to recommend things we could see and also was very flexible when we wanted to make changes to the itinerary through the holiday! Sugama was a friendly and great driver too and we were thankful to have him take us around the beautiful country in comfort!
Would recommend these guys for sure to plan your trip to Bali!

It was an excellent and great trip and Nyoman Darsana our driver, he was much more than driver or tour guide. A great man with huge knowledge and let us „look into“ the Bali culture by helping to select the right spots, with great insight into Bali soul, thanks a lot

We stayed 2,5 weeks in Bali and Juli was our driver during the whole time. It was really a pleasure to be accompanied by him from arriving at the airport until our departure with only some days off during our stay. Juli was very nice, friendly and polite, very flexible in the planning and always available (via whattsapp). He explained us a lot about Bali, the traditions and the way of life. At the same time he was very interested to learn things about Europe. Together we planned our trips and activitites day by day. And he was very understanding of our interests. We always felt very safe as Juli is a very good driver and always well prepared for the tours.

Diano was my driver for some weeks in Bali. Flexible, nice and really proficient in English. Local knowledge from a Bali native 👍 also the administration and planing of the trip by Yanthi was nice, quick and professional. Thank you guys.

Diano was my driver for the day. Not only was he highly proficient in English, his knowledge of all things Bali helped give me context for things I was seeing. He was on time and highly responsive which made my trip extremely pleasant and smooth in an otherwise sometimes chaotic Bali traffic.

Diano was our driver for the second day of our Bali trip. We had hired him for a private 10h tour to bring us to Batur Lake, Pura Ulun Danur Batur, a hotstpring waterpark nearby, and to the Tirta Empul Water Temple. The tour company was very good to give us his contact number the day before via email, and we used a local number to contact him via Whatsapp.
Diano was very responsive to our requests, and aceeded to our request for a slightly later pickup time on the morning itself so we could have more time for breakfast. Along the way to Batur, he also pointed out interesting sights along the way, and also discussed local history and politics, which he was very well versed at. Diano's English was excellent, and we had no difficulties at all with understanding what he said.
What we especially loved about Diano's service was his explanations of Balinese culture and traditions. It was especially helpful at the Water Temple, when we were slightly lost at first with regards to what to do (e.g., how to wear a Balinese sarong). We felt safe and secure with him. Would 100% recommend him for future trips, as the service he provided was very good. The price was reasonable too. All the best Diano!

BMT should have the best answers. They have been doing tours some time now. My girlfriend and I enjoyed seeing waterfalls, Rice Terraces, temples, coffees plantations, Bali Villages, volcanoes, monkey forest, traditional dances, white water, food, culture, and so much more.
BMT can arrange a great amount of experiences at a great price.

How do you go about booking a driver for the day in Bali? Do they just pick you up from your hotel and you let them know what you want to see? Do you need to tell them in advance where you want to go? Do you pay by the day? How do you pay? When do you pay .. the list is endless :)

We emailed them prior to arrival. We had a list of things we wanted to check out and provided that info to them. Since we didn’t know the area, they created the day to day Itinerary based on what we wanted to see. You can also ask for suggestions and I believe the6 can create the tour for you.
Our driver Khresna picked us up daily from the hotel. We really highly recommend him if you decide to book this company. He speaks really good English and was very accomodat8ng to our last minutes changes. You do pay each day in cash (rupiahs). I can’t remember how much they charge per hour but it’s very reasonable. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We just returned from Bali a few weeks ago.

The beaches are a great spot. I have a 6 year old but did not bring him, it seems a bit hard traveling with small children because there would be a lot of walking on some of these tours and kids can get tired or cranky quick. They would do well at the Monkey Forest, just make sure you pay attention to the "don't' there, kids could get freaked. Also the rice paddies is a nice walking tour where kids could roam yet you get to take in the sights. Aside from the beaches, to me it seemed like a great couples vacation spot. To get anywhere it's a pretty long rough ride since there's traffic and roads can get bumpy. I'd give the kids Dramamine to save you the possibility of turning a great day bad quick. Some of the temples we visited would also be good for kids. Seminyak would be the best place and Legian, which are close. Not sure where you're staying. Lots of families in Legian since it's very resorty, more things for kids. Hope that helps, very jealous as I fell in love with Bali. A friend had given me great places to go for adults that were fabulous! Not to say the kids won't have a great time, just wish you could experience it the way we did, really enjoy everything.
