You can dive this underwater statue garden directly from the Tulamben Dive Resort...I ate breakfast while my husband snorkeled the statue garden...They have built this as a point of interest and it's great.

Thank you for your nice feedback. We only want to clarify: this dive spot is just in front of MATAHARI Tulamben Dive Resort and we built this dive spot for everybody without any donations... We are happy that you liked our house reef :-)

Was disappointed. Thought this place would be bigger with more sunken statues but really only a few of them. Still a neat experience but only worth one dive in my opinion.

Very sad to hear that you dont like our project. But please keep in mind: This is a private created Dive Spot and we pay everything by ourself. Without a single Rupiah or Dollar donation. It took us time and lot of money to ordered this statues, stupas and arthefacts. And if divers dont care and distroy sometimes the place we take care and rebuilt it. Every diver can go there and lot of creatures love to stay there already. Matahari Tulamben Resort, Dive & SPA Suci and the TEAM

Suci Place is a shore dive directly in front of and creatd by the Matahari Resort Dive and Spa. The dive is an easy, leisurely dive amonst statues, stupa's and other man made objects designed to encourage coral growth and fishlife to make a home. The entrance is directly in front of the Matahari Resort, which has also provided a rope to hold onto assisting in entering an exiting the water. A very thoughtful addition as the rocks are the same type as the USAT Liberty and the rest of the beach. Round, loose under foot and can be slippery. The site is more than large enough to spend 40 minute to over an an hour exploring and is still growing with hard and soft corals taking hold on the statues and structures and things to search for on the black sand. Others have mentioned currents however we didn't encounter any on our dives and thoroughly enjoyed our dives at Suci Place. The site is starting to show its potential as a macro site worth diving for its own sake, not just an alternative to the Liberty or Drop Off. Congratulations Matahari Resort.…

As the title says, great for photography, mostly macro. Sometimes sharks, bumphead parrotfish and a lot of clownfish

Apart from Liberty Wrack, this is another interesting site to explore and I believe many divers will definitely love this area except the shore entry is a bit challenging but shouldn't be huge issue for most divers and that period we went was pretty calm.
