A tiny miniature of Angkor, consists of two temple buildings, one huge outer terrace and one inner terrace, surrounding corridors and one small museum. Not many people were there on Sunday. The entrance is 20 baht (for Thai and Thai-looking-and-Thai-speaking-foreigners like me), and it is...More

Just left and really impressed by the well preserved and restored temple complex. Entry is 20 baht for Thais and 100 baht for everyone else. This is always a niggle for me especially as the difference is always just written in thai script. The complex...More

This temple is very well restored. Likely to be constructed in XI century. The most valuable ancient objects are at the Phimai museum, about 10 min to walk.

Amazing visit! If you live in Thailand and don't want or can't go to Angor Wat, this is a good place where to see typical Khmer architecture (there are a lot of other temples to visit from Surin as well), it is not as big...More

A 45 minute drive from Korat. Very interesting to see the old temple. Cheap entry. Can get really hot inside the area though.

It's a mini, mini, mini Angkor Wat. Which, makes sense, as this marked the northern end of the Ancient (Angkor - Phimai) Khmer Highway. The temple complex itself is small and can be explored easily in a couple of hours. After you're done, support the...More
