Worthy a visit to explore and get a piece of history. You should go there if you stay on the island.

I am glad I read other people’s reviews before we went as it was quite graphic. The prison is quite well set out with signs and information. Again to echo other reviews, take it with a grain of salt. I suggest doing a quick google...More

This was a real eye opener! Showed a lot of cruel things that were done to the prisoners. Guide was very knowledgeable but didn’t wait till whole group were there before he started to explain things.

We visited the prison as part of an introduction to Phu Quoc tour with TUI. It is really horrific what went on only 50 or so years ago. The life sized figures really give you an idea of what the prisoners of war were subjected...More

It's good that they show how the prisoners were treated. Man is inhuman! It's free of charge to enter the museum.

Interesting visit in a former US prison. Not recommended to bring kids without proper supervision - scenes are extremely brutal and graphic.

An amazing historical site with striking recreations of the prisons cruelty to its captives. The described happenings and detail the tortures that prisoners had to endure is humbling and heartbreaking. Fee was by donation.

It might be better to use a wheelchair because the prison is quite big and there are stairs that lead into each cabin.
