Pretty nice

Plenty to do on this beach. Lots of deck chairs to enjoy the sun. There are also many resort type restaurants to buy a drink or to eat.

Yet again a beach that is spoiled by rubbish everywhere such a shame could be a good beach but this is a recurring theme in Phu quoc and it seems Vietnam on a whole

This beach is the worst I have seen with regard to cleanliness. Apart from couple of clean patches there is rubbish everywhere. Pipes draining to the sea every 50-100m. I can understand the ongoing construction of new resorts which is not ideal but bearable. However unless they do something with the state of the beach and surrounding they won't have... More

Luckily staying at Cassia Cottage we had the best part of the whole of Long Beach. The sands were pristine and the water clean and calm. Unfortunately this cannot be said of the rest of Long Beach in either direction. The road behind the beach resorts is a complete building site with huge cement lorries pounding up and down the... Such a shame, could be an amazing beach but theres litter everywhere including in the sea and theres so many developments being built next to it that its just constantly noisey and polluted. Would suggest on nang beach in the north, out of the few we visited it was definitely the best and we met other travellers who agreed.

I could not recommend this beach because it is polluted with plastic bag and other plastic things. It is recommended that Vietnam and Phu Quoc should start to care about their environment otherwise they will loose all tourist

The beach was nice enough. Due to the season, was a bit rough and the water not so clear. Nice and clean though, and lovely when the sun sets without clouds. Not a patch on some of the beaches you find in the likes of Thailand though. That said, way less people.

Phu Quoc was sold to my wife and I as idyllic, beautiful and relaxing. If anyone tells you that don't believe them; or at least research where you're going to stay. Litter everywhere, cables from pylons laid on the pavements and poor amenities will be what you'll find at Long Beach anyway. The resort we stayed at was lovely thank... More

Really sad state of the beach here, used syringes washed up and sewage outlets being drained into the sea. Can't understand how the locals don't realise that they need to do something about it. Wouldn't fly to Phu Quoc again, there's Sao Bao but it's starting to get just as bad with restaurants literally sweeping empty cans off the tables... More
