Nice walks along the beach

People are talking about fantastic sunsets. That is something you should not miss, but don't forget about the rising sun either.

Local government need to sort out the trash and rubbish on the beach and in the water. So disappointing. It's beautiful but after a couple of days I was getting really annoyed with how much rubbish is in the water. Won't be going back =(

This is a piece of heaven . Gorgeous warm water and golden sand . It is magical to watch the sun setting in the evening . The warm is so warm you can float around forever.

My beautiful daughter (21yrs. not a teenager) and I spent 3 days at the Famiana Resort and it was awesome. About $105/day ..but worth it. Air conditioning works great all night. (The last hotel in Ho Chi Minh worked intermittently (Athena Hotel). Beautiful hotel though, comfortable beds, good restaurant on 11th floor.) Back to Famiana... The staff is so friendly... More

We were staying the quiet north, so spent a day here after driving down on a moped. The beach is lovely, but the shops and area on the main road weren't to our taste.

The Long beach is really long :) this part of the island is mainly for tourists, full of resorts, hotels, bars and restaurants. But thanks to this they keep it clean so there is no garbage as in many other parts of the island and the beach is very beautiful with palm trees everywhere. You can enjoy your breakfast or... More

The stretch near Long Beach Resort was the best on the island. It's a bit further south than the main bit and round some rocks. Calm sea, clean sand and not too many people about. Managed to get a bed everyday and watch some amazing sunsets too! We tried a few other beaches and soon realised the one on our... More

Nothing special about this beach, it was pretty crowded. Nice fruit ladies who sell excellent fruits, and many restaurants that are easily accessable. Lovely sunset!

That's one of the nicest beaches on the island, in my mind. Bai Sao is considered to be more beautiful, the water and sand there probably are, but you almost always get constant waves there, which is not as comfortable with a baby as without her. Sunsets are marvelous, almost every day. So considering the prices and accommodation availability, this... More

The water is pretty clear, the beach clean and sandy (no rocks, pebbles, etc.) but there is not much beach space. It is very long, but narrow, and resort chairs run the entire length. Further up the coast (Cua Can, Vung Bau) the beaches are bigger, wider, and resorts sparsely dot this northern section, meaning no competing for sand space... More
