For what it is, it is good. They cram a lot in a small place. Be prepared to take in a bunch of stuff! We enjoyed it. Seeing the mammoth was the highlight of the tour. The Indian relics were neat to look at.

Many people don't realize the Clovis man history but it's fascinating. The dig site is something with experiencing.

I had never made the link in my mind between Clovis man in the history of America, and Clovis, New Mexico where I was visiting the Cannon AFB. What a wonderful find.

Between Clovis and Portales sits this small museum about the history of the area including Clovis man and mammoths. It's simple enough and cheap enough to take the children and not blow your budget.

Very educational. Lots of good information and interesting displays. Fossils you can actually touch. And the video is worth the watch.

Interesting displays on the Blackwater dig. Mammoth bones that you can actually touch. A few large displays and many small exhibits. Twenty six video on Gault dig site in central Texas.
