I was knocked off my feet by the superb "Transforming Space Transforming Fiber" exhibit now (til 1/21/17) at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. An amazing collection of world-class fiber artists collected in the small space allotted to the museum. I heard from one of the docents that the museum is hoping to move to a much larger space -... This is a very good museum with many excellent artists showing and a great venue. An essential part of very historic Las Cruces.

There was not much to see here. The museum featured a few local artists but was very small. Attached is the Science Museum - very small too. We toured the whole place in less than 20 minutes. Ok if you have small children.

There is not much to see here and I suppose that is why there is no admission fee. If you have nothing else to do for 1/2 hour and you are downtown maybe would be worth it

There is no address associated with the TripAdvisor listing so I am going to assume it is for "The Las Cruces Museum of Art" which hosts changing contemporary art exhibits. Located at 491 North Main Street. If so, we didn't like it. It's a FREE museum and their 1 art display while we were there was someone's photography collection. It... More

We stopped after doing the Saturday morning street market out front. They had a curated primarily regional ceramic exhibition when we visited. It was excellent. As an art collector and former higher end art gallery owner/manager I am often asked where to find really good art for a beginning collector. If you are lucky, you will have a regional art... More

The thumbnail doesn't do it justice. It is actually a wonderful place in Southern NM to see art and learn about culture.

Nice museums on Main street downtown. Good collection of prehistoric animal tracks. Liked the Brenigan Center.

The exhibit was very nice in this small Art Museum. The combination of art from 2 local resident's collections was well put together, and thoughtful. Also had the benefit of being free.

Lovely art displays as well as permanent exhibits make this museum a great addition to the attractions in Las Cruces. Good for families or just a browse while visiting the downtown area.
