We initially picked this place because I had never been to New Mexico, and it was one of only two states I had not visited, and also because of the "realism" of an authentic experience. It was easily accessible, and we flew into El Paso and drove the hour north to this ranch. On the day we went, it was... More

I made reservations with Billy two weeks before our trip, he went through all the directions and I wrote them down. It was easy to find and we were supposed to be there at 10:00am to ride. We get there at 9:30am and walk up and nobody was outside so we waited around and pet the horses that were right... More

Since the beginning of our vacation, my partner and I wanted to do horse back riding. Unfortunately most of the surrounding areas didn't offer it or didn't pick up. We are staying in T or C and drove 90 mins to do this. His was both of our first times actually riding horses. The staff is amazing! They are so... More

We had a great time with Billy and Jim. Even for those that don't ride often they did a great job. Fun, polite and knows a ton about the area. This is a must do and I suggest you start your trip here. The history is rich and well told. The views are unbelievable. Horses are wonderful. Would love to... More

I've done this ride several times with various visitors and every one of them has loved it! This time we had two kids 11 and 16 - both first time riders. The horses are really gentle, the ride is very easy - nothing more than walking. We rode an hour, stopped for a short rest and explored some small caves,... More

My boyfriend and I were in Las Cruces for a quick trip before his deployment and this was a great experience for us to share. Billy is the real deal and his ranch offers beautiful views, lessons in history and science and an authentic experience. We had a wonderful day on the ranch taking in the stunning scenery and sharing... More

Billy is a first-rate Trail Guide, Trainer and Character. He will train you how to ride his horses and you will have a first rate ride once you heed his words and "dance with your horse with your hips". Billy's love of the land and the rich Western history come in bursts of stories of the Mexican-American War, Gadsden Purchase... More

This was the first time we'd been to the Las Cruces area and my manfriend's first time on a horse. What better time then to take the journey? Billy (owner) is quite the cowboy and really knows his history and geology. We had lots of fun exploring some caves during our ride. When making your reservations with Billy, make sure... More

We visited Las Cruces, NM last year in November and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Billy Prewitt – owner and guide at Corralitos Trail Rides. We found the website for Corralitos Trail Rides while traveling to New Mexico from Florida and based on the photos and information on the site we decided to give it a chance. I called... More
