Victory Ranch currently has a herd of 175 Alpacas and a few llamas. They are open for visits on weekends during the winter and most days during the summer. Check their web site or call for specifics. Alex gives a great talk and tour of the alpacas with the yearling flock waiting to ambush guests with lots of begging for... More

Me and a few friends traveled here. We really liked the animals and we also liked to how nice the landscaping looked too. Also we went here without our parents. We also liked that we didn't have our parents talking and annoying us about having to take a shower or bath and that we could enjoy this place in peace.... More

We had the best time visiting the Victory Ranch. It is a lovely 30 mile (approximately an hour) drive north of Las Vegas outside the town of Mora. I recommend calling ahead to be sure and plan to arrive in time for a tour. There is a nominal fee, but it was very educational to learn about the Alpacas. They... More

My wife and I stopped at the ranch on a day trip to Las Vegas. It's actually located in Mora which 30 miles North of Las Vegas. The Drive is beautiful on highway 518. We payed for the tour and learned about their alpaca and their relation to llamas. Then we got to feed and pet the alpacas which was... More

This is really a fun place. My only regret was that I didn't have my grandchildren with me. Cindy's talk was extremely informative and Alex who took us to feed the critters was great also. Don't miss the gift shop. Both made items and yarn available.

What a fun visit, I went on a tour bus and had a great time. Cindy one of the owners gave a very interesting view of how the ranch got started. Cindy explained with photo's how the Alpaca's are raised and fed and also sheared, the wool is used in so many ways.I would recommend this visit especially for kids,... More

At certain times of day you can purchase some feed and they will eat out of your hand/no teeth! Extremely soft wool. And how can you beat a valley next to high mountains? Friendly staff and a shop with soft alpaca clothes for cold days; in natural wool colors!

Resting in the beautiful surroundings of this one of a kind ranch was like the cherry on the cake for my vacation. The staff very friendly. The owner Carol answered all my questions (and there were many) about the Alpacas and the ranch itself. It was a trip through time and a history lesson when we took the tour....wonderful. Cindy... This ranch is an impressive property located in the mountains of Mora New Mexico outside of Las Vegas NM. The tour was super informative and given by the wonderful and knowledgeable owner, Carol. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved the baby cria (baby alpaca) and the ranch dogs were beautiful. I cant wait to return.
