My husband and I went snowshoeing for the first time. Stuart was an amazing guide. He took the time to make sure everyone had what they needed including hand and toe warmers. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had a wealth of fun facts about the trees and animal tracks we saw along the way. Stuart made sure... More

We spent a lovely 4 hours with Stuart in La Jara Canyon. His enthusiasm is contagious! And his knowledge of the outdoors and plant and animal life is excellent. We hiked up for about 1 1/2 hours (stopping for a hot chooolate break) and then lunch through forest with spruce, firs and aspens. Stuart makes it fun for all ages... More

I came with my family and we all had a great time! Many layers and good boots with wool socks and heated insoles ensured no one got too cold. It was moderately strenuous but, if anything, that helped us stay warmer in between stops for hot cider and a chili lunch!
