I've actually hiked Tree Spring Trail more times than I can count. It has *the best* view (at the top) in the Sandias for the least amount of work (except perhaps for driving to the Crest). We hike this trail several times a year. It is on the east side of the Sandias. Starts fairly high on the mountain, goes through lovely forests and glades with spectacular views along the way and at the top.
