The Mesalands Community College's Dinosaur Museum and Natural Sciences Laboratory is located in Tucumcari, New Mexico, on old Route 66. Many of the genuine fossils on display were collected by students enrolled in the College's Paleontology program. Also on display are life-sized bronzes dinosaur sculptures created through the College's Fine Arts Bronze program. We offer a discount on admission for active military.

This is a great, short stop across I-40's wide open expanses. The museum isn't huge, but still worth the time. Our boys enjoyed being able to see representations of dinosaur bones and skulls. Stop in, if you have 30 minutes to an hour.

This was lovely! Not overwhelming, educational, well staged and easy to do in as little or as long as you'd like. My girls loved it, especially the interactive watershed activity. Very worth a stop. The gift shop offers a lot of cool items, too.

Found this on our way from the Historical museum. A well laid out display that covers a wide range of 'dinosaurs'. Very informative.

Very nice small museum. Lots of native or local artifacts. Watch as people actually clean and research items. Very friendly staff. They even displayed a fossil of my daughters. Take the kids and enjoy!

I had some time to kill in Tucumcari and stumbled across this museum. It is very interesting and manageable. Has the right amount of information and some interactive displays. Bronze replicas of the dinosaurs are very unique! Great gift shop for science projects.

Do not know, but you should call the Museum and ask them - they were very helpful when I was there.
