Nice people, cool stuff

I went on a vacation to Tucumcari and went to this store. The cashier was really nice. He showed me all around the store and even gave me a discount on the gas pump shown below!

On the Route 66, when you will reach Tucumcari, stop there and visit Garry and its amazing Trading Post. You will see many antic “things” from the Route 66 inside the shop and also around it. You don’t have to come to buy something to visit his shop or I would say his incredible museum. And Garry will be there... More

This was a place we planned on going to on our way to Santa Fe and we pulled in and it was closed. My kids are very disappointed.

We stopped at this iconic place. Unfortunate...it was closed but it is just a trip to see just the outside!! Can hardly wait to go by again and see the inside!!! A promise of a quirky experience.

It was closed up when we drove by, but we still took pictures and glanced at the memorabilia outside. Interesting closeup of old machines, gas pumps, and signs

Thank Lisa P
