We knew that there would be less wildlife in the river due to the season. However we still saw some 50 elephants making their way to the river. They passed our car very close which offered us great close up pictures. Also lots of hypo, Buffalo, giraf and antilopes.. We did both self drive and organised game drives. In rainy... More

Unfortunately we had only one day there but had the chance to visit both from the river and the land. It was amazing, we were thrilled. I am sure other parts of the Chobe National Park are beautiful but having the chance to visit also by a boat is a privilege. I want to visit again sometime.

This is so unbelievable. If you have a chance to do this don't pass it up . So much to see, elephants and hippos swimming rightbin front of us. Lots of water buffalo too and so many African birds. We booked this from our resort in Zambia as a day trip . Fabulous.

There were some amazing sightings here, lions, elephants, leopards etc, but be warned the driver can't follow the animals off road, so you won't always get close to them. Its definitely a game reserve to take your zoom lens to.

We ended our safari in Chobe. After Savute, it was great to see the Chobe River and a ton of wildlife. It was like a 1000 Noah's Arks had emptied out by the river (Namibia is on the other side). Seeing the happy animals play in/near the water was great. Seeing the lionesses and their cubs crossing from the open... More

We went on a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive, both along the river out. I would have liked to have taken multiple routes, but at seams at this part of the park, the entry people determine what route you will take, rather than letting the guide follow the tracks and do their thing. We saw plenty of... More

The experience of a safari in Botswana is unquestionably an amazing experience and real Africa. Take your time try and book 4 Wheel drive Landrover and guide and camp out under the stars. The country is full of wonderful wildlife without crowds. We travelled as a family of 4 for 3 weeks and came across a couple of dozen people... More

It was my dream once to visit that remote area of Chobe NP. We were staying in Ghoha Hills lodge and took off early in the morning to Ghoha Gates where we turned to the right and drove along the park boundary (excellent road). Then we drove into the park (there are no fences) where Nxunxutsla Pan is. It took... More

Our trip here was great and we spotted many many wild animals. The guide driving the 4x4 was very informative and great at spotting animals from a distance away!
