We rented the lighthouse to stay in with friends. It was a great experience if you want to get away and "disconnect" from everyday life. Cell signal is spotty and the tv gets very limited antenna channels. There is also no Wifi. Take cards or games to play! The accommodations were nice, a three bedroom, one bathroom upstairs dwelling. The... More

This is another lighthouse on the U.S. side of Lake Ontario. The lighthouse was open for a tour of the tower. What a great view! You can also rent this lighthouse. Thirty Mile Point lighthouse is worth a visit.

We like to take our visitors here to go through the old light house. Nice campsites for RV's. You can also stay over night in the lighthouse! They put in a new playground for younger children in the fall of 2015.

This is park of a New York State Park and is a well maintained example of a Great Lakes lighthouse. The building and grounds are well maintained, and a tour of the lighthouse tower is availible for only a few dollars. You might have to be patient, there is usually only one volunteer availible for tours and you might find... More

How many times do you have a chance to live in a lighthouse for any amount of time? This is a 3 bedroom lighthouse that you can rent out. It has a kitchen, living room area and bathroom. It would be great for families or 3 couples.

The lighthouse is located in a State Park on Lake Ontario near the Orleans and Niagara county line. They have a camp site there at the lighthouse where you can park your RV or Trailer and stay there. There is a gift shop there and a tour of the home of the lighthouse and you are able to go up... More

Well...a lighthouse in a lakeside setting, that's sort of obvious...this is not a large lighthouse like you would see in the Carolinas, this is small, and homey. You can contact the preservation group that maintains it and stay there, but I believe you need to bring your own linens (you might want to check on that!) I hear that there... More

This enchanting historic lighthouse is majestic and perfect for a picnic. Overnight accommodations are possible. Bathrooms are clean and modern in the park. The views are tremendous of the Ontario lakeshore. It is perfect for painters of sunsets, water & sunrises.

My sister and I decided to rent this lighthouse for a few days. It was wonderful: Three comfortable bedrooms with queen-sized beds, complete kitchen (including a microwave and a toaster), beautiful claw foot tub in the bathroom, and a living room with a fireplace. What more could you possibly want? It took just over an hour to get to this... More

On our way home from Lunch at the local Barker Brewing BBQ restaurant, Laurie and I took a side trip to the Thirty Mile Point Light. This is a historic lighthouse on a beautiful park. You can camp at the part. But the highlight is that you can rent, and live in, the lighthouse itself if you plan well enough... More
