What a wonderful day visiting The Museum at Bethel Woods. The museum brings you back to the wonderful days of Woodstock. The displays and music are done very well. 3 hours were well spent reminiscing of life and music of the 60's.

This was a spot we needed to see while vacationing in the Catskills. Completely worth the trip and a great lesson in a huge part of our country's history. So glad we made it. In addition to the regular portion of the Woodstock Museum, there was a special exhibit showcasing the Civil Rights movement with the photography of Grey Villet.... More

A great museum and spiritual grounds to feel the experience. I volunteered a summer here and it was the only way. I could read and experience everything they had, and always changing.

What a wonderful visit ... my first visit 47 years after my original in August 1969 .... a definite must see for all Original Woodstockers ... the whole story for the decade leading up to the Woodstock Festival, as well as the Festival itself are all expertly and concisely presented in great audio / visual fashon so that even those... It's a small museum so I thought we would only need a small amount of time; I was wrong. You can easily spend 2 or 3 hours without much effort. The different videos and movies shown in the museum are intriguing and expanded my impressions of the festival. If I'm honest, I am the opposite of what I thought Woodstock... More

It was exciting to actually be a Woodstock. I was a teenager in California when this took place. I have always loved the music even though it was a time full of casual sex and drugs, which never does anyone any good. Everyone there, from the ones selling you tickets to the tour guides to the snack bar were just... More

The museum has some very interesting displays and short films that can start some great conversations. . It is very clean and well organized. It was a great place to spend a couple of hours. I didn't attend the Woodstock Festival, but am old enough to remember the news reports about it.
