This little "gem" of an historic museum chronicles the development, growth, and history of an iconic US company, the International Business Machines ...IBM or Big Blue as it is more commonly known. The development of the "time machine" which started the Bundy Time Machine Company in Oneonta, NY, as well as the Bundy family which invented, created, developed and changed... More

Not only is this a beautiful home with period furniture and architecture but as part of the property there are two other attractions. One is a tribute to the people in radio and television from the local area and their Hall of Fame and then a museum of home town famous author and TV star, Rod Serling. Having a docent... More

This museum consists mainly of a Victorian style house with a number of original elements. What makes it worth a visit is the guided tour with the Bundy family story (founders of the company that would become IBM) and the discussion of late 19th/early 20th century life.

Don't overlook this quaint home in a busy section of town. Our docent was very interesting and the home holds many beautiful details. Be sure to see the fascinating shades in the daughter's bedroom that are printed with the "old" view across the street!

We had a lovely time visiting the Bundy Museum! Seeing the mansion in it's authentic way was so interesting and beautiful. The guide took his time to tell us everything about this family and the IBM history. There is also a little side museum about Rod Sterling (Twiligt Zone) For First Friday's you're also at the right address! They have... More

My husband and I visited the museum yesterday and had such a wonderful experience. The guide was excellent, she really did a great job painting a picture of how things were back in the early 1900s. I loved the whisper room upstairs. The whole house is an architectural delight!

Very interesting and eclectic venue. Home of the inventor of the time clock which eventually became IBM. Tour guide was outstanding and staff was friendly. House has incredible woodwork. Also home of (small) Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame and (small) Twilight Zone Museum. Twilight Zone Museum would be of interest any baby boomer who watched TV as a kid.... More

Bundy was the family which founded the Bundy Time Company which became International Business Machines, IBM. Two houses side by side in fact on the West Side of Binghamton on Main Street where two brothers eventually lived from about 1900 well into the mid 20th Century. Both building filled with era furniture reflecting the lifestyles of the families through the... More

The biggest issue is that we could not even get into the museum during business hours. What happened was beyond frustrating, and inexcusable. First, we went to the museum at 11am, the stated time they open for business. The doors were locked and there was no sign of anyone there. We stood by the front door for about 7 minutes,... More

The main reason we visited the Bundy Museum was to view the Rod Serling Twilight Zone exhibit. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Janna who gave us a personal tour of the Bundy House. We learned that the home dates back to 1892 where Harlow Bundy resided. Janna gave us insightful and educational information about the history of... More
