I take my girls here almost monthly. This is a truly terrific zoo, and it is stuffed with things for the entire family, butterfly world, mountain gorillas shows, great petting zoo, etc.

We spent the day at the Bronx Zoo, and I mean the entire day: from 10-6 and still did not see it all. Grew up in the area, but have not been back for decades...this Zoo did not disappoint. Search on line for discounts; I...More

I remember going here over 50 years ago as a kid, and I loved it then, and loved it now! Large zoo so bring your walking shoes. Like the large open areas for the animals, no more small cages! Everyone was friendly and helpful and...More

This stop was requested by my daughter who loves the show featuring this zoo. We have seen a lot of zoo's and this one definitely ranks on top. Very happy with our visit.

Zoo is very accessible by public transportation. Getting in was a breeze no long lines. Good service was reasonable especially drink refill on a hot day. Prepare to walk...a lot... was a great experience

Which tickets to purchase? General Admission or Total Experience? We are two adults tourists. I read that Asian Monorail is a "must see." If we purchase the General Admission, how much will this extra cost us. And how about the in-park tram. Extra fee also if only purchasing General Afmission? Thanks.

I'm a member of the Zoo so my pass includes all attractions. Personally I would go for the Total Experience (World of Darkness, Wild Asia, the carousel, children's Zoo, any everything else). Enjoy!
