The church at Fordham University is one of the oldest buildings in the Bronx, dating back to the 1840s. The story around the church is that the beautiful stained glass windows were designed in Europe and destined to be part of St Patrick's Cathedral, but were too large. Thus, the planners of Fordham University accepted the windows and designed the... More

Visited while visiting my son in 2015. He is a masters scolar at Fordham University. Beautiful old buildings. Students cafeteria a must to visit. You eat like a king for about $5 per person. The sport centre host many basketball events. Gyms are well equiped. The church is spectacular. The grounds were covered in snow. Well worth a visit

A very beautiful church in a very beautiful setting- the campus of Rose Hill. We love Christmas Festival of the Carols.

On the campus of Fordham University, this church's bells have been said to inspire Edgar Allen Poe. Both of my sons attended Fordham Prep, and we had the privilege of visiting this beautiful old church with regularity.

I attended Fordham University, and probably spent two visits to the church, back then. I have been back a number of times to the campus, anf the church is one of the focal points of every trip. It is wonderfully preserved, stone floors, carved wooden doors and beautiful stained glass windows.

This Church helps you to be inspired; To Talk With God. While talking, ( Praying ) in this Church you know; almost see Him Listening. This Jesuit/Catholic Church reminds you He is there, in your life; and quite interested.

The striking set of windows in what I think is the south or west-facing aisle were the gift of King Louis Philippe of France. A gift originally intended for St Patrick's Old Cathedral, in what is now Little Italy, they were discovered to be the wrong sizes and so were sent to the newly-built chapel in what was then St...
