The Cold Spring Antiques Center is also known as the CS Vault since they are located in a former bank building and have a huge, room sized safe that they use to display merchandise. The owners, Tom and Nancy, couldn't be nicer or more informative about the hundreds (thousands?) of items that are sold here.

No matter what you're looking for in the way of antiques and vintage, you probably can find it here, whether some jewelry, a knick knack for the home or even a prop for a movie or video. There are over 40 dealers who sell here, so you never know what you'll find.

Prices are very reasonable, some downright cheap, even for quality merchandise. The shop is usually packed on weekends with people from all over including young hipsters from the City.

If you're in Cold Spring, don't miss a chance to visit the Antique Center. It's very convenient by train or car.

charming little shop has moved a few times recently. It is one of the more interesting and friendlier antique stores, and the prices are competitive. The owners are very sweet and endeavor to find whatever you are dreaming of.

Really fun store, nice people, reasonable prices. I don't get over there very often, so it was confusing to find them up the hill now, but it's the same charming place, just a different location. It's a fun place to find treats for yourself, gifts for others, and swap stories about collectibles with the owners. There are too few of these shops left nowadays, visit while you can.

Located on a corner of Cold Spring, NY is the Once Upon a Time Shop. Once inside the clerk was helpful and friendly and said if I needed help to call her. There are tons of old toys as soon as you come inside in beautiful display cases and furniture. There’s something for everyone as their eclectic collection spans not only the main floor but the lower level too. They are on Main Street, which is a great long trek of antique stores and make a great day trip to visit or window shop, thank you.

We've been to their old store and to the new one up the street. Both times we spent awhile talking with the couple who own the store. They are fun to talk to, provide great service and always offer a fair price on their merchandise. It's truly a mom and pop store, the kind that may no longer exist soon like so many other things that are disappearing in the upside down world we are living in now. Lots of things to choose from, but particularly great selection of jewelry, toy cars (old Matchbox, Corgi, etc.) and doll house accessories.

Roaming around upstate this past weekend we took a side trip to cold spring ny and loved this little town. This antique shop as well as cold spring antiques center down the block were packed with stuff, friendly proprietors and good prices. Judging by the astronimically priced general merchandise stores in the town, we were not hopeful anything from the antique shops would be in our price range but we were wrong. We got nice stuff at both places. Definitely check them both out!!

Love going in here more as a gallery than to buy. But you can. Just an FYI, the store has moved up the street to the corner of Kemble. Smaller but nicely done. Not far.

Cold Spring NY is known for its distinctive shops and antiques but I found the Once Upon a Time Shop to have a homey feel and the owners welcoming and friendly. In an old store front, with antique display cases, there are old toys and dolls, but there are many other items to be found, including furniture and pottery. All are thoughtfully arranged in a store format - not a jumble like some other shops - clean and accessible. Prices are very fair and the shopkeepers know about their items. Another positive that struck me were the many locals/"regulars" who came in while we were there one weekday. That is another indication to me that this is a great place to shop. We purchased several items and actually came back for more after visiting the other area shops. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
