We visited the area during Glassfest which was busy but lots of fun. Great restaurants and shops along with the Rockwell museum and the clocktower in Centerway Square. We came back on Memorial Day when the area was quiet and discovered the Little Joe tower....More

The visitors center was a great place to start the walking tour of the area. Having the buildings identified and numbered (listing and map picked up at the visitor center) by the clock tower, makes this very special. I loved all the buildings and the...More

Enjoyed putz in around the Gaffers District in Corning, NY. Hard to tell where that separates from the Museum and other attractions, but a really cool area. Connected to downtown, the river, and the main Corning Glass facilities. Nice area to walk through, brick walkways,...More

The Gaffer district is one of the nicest places to walk, shop or stop at any one of the restaurants to eat. Centerway Square is a place to sit, eat or people watch. Corning has a lot to offer and the people are friendly.

We really enjoyed walking around and going into the galleries and shops. There is plenty of places to eat as well.

Small town collection of restaurants, antique shops, and a lot of beauty shops, massage parlors and everything else you need in a town. A bit of history but nothing outstanding. A ok way to spend an hour or two.

There are a good variety of restaurants at the Gaffer District but not many shops. I was expecting more boutiques and specialty shops but most are businesses and Antique stores I can find in my own town... We were very disappointed.

You can find just about anything you'd desire, including several ethnic restaurants. That's a rare find in rural WNY.
