We paid $50 for a tent site and $10 for a bundle of wood (this is more expensive than all other parks in the area). We drove to the "campsites" and were appalled. The entire park is DISGUSTING. There is garbage covering the ground, and...More

This park could be very nice if it weren't for the goose poop everywhere. I know they are wildlife but they need to be removed. Maybe a dog or two could scare them away.

One of the best places in Westchester county for bird watching with great views of the hudson river. The park has an eighty acre restored grassland, mature forest and water front that attracts many species of birds and even hosts an Eagle Festival in February....More

Croton Point is an absolutely beautiful park right on the Hudson. It's got a lot of different sections, including a swimming/beach area, plenty of fields, and great picnicking spots. There's a playground (might actually be more than one because it's so big) for the kids...More

Absolutely Gorgeous almost Island Park. Areas to picnic, nice area to walk and lovely playground. Not so great if it is windy and the bathroom isn't always open. There's supposed to be a nature center, but we never seem to catch it when its open.

We have always biked to this park. There is no fee if you walk or bike in. There is a beach, grills and a playground.

Gorgeous, relaxing place to bring visiting puppies for a riverside romp. I've heard the cope/rangers are sometimes grumpy about off-leash dogs (as they should be), but an off-season visit with a friend's dogs was delightful.

Yes, there is a part of the park that was a landfill that CLOSED AND WAS COVERED over 30 years ago. It is off the road in and not intrusive in any way. There are no picnic tables there and although we go often, we...More
