A peaceful spot with ample parking, sidewalks to stroll on, Adirondack chairs to rest on. I didnt do anything but enjoy a few restful minutes in the chairs and found it to be quite pleasant.

It was fine, but probably would not go back.

The pier was nice, but people kinda drive a little crazy there! The shops were cute. The day we were there it was super windy. There were several people set up fishing and the lines were blowing all over the place due to the wind. I'm glad we stopped, but I don't think there is any reason I would go back.

Watched the sun set. Interesting layout. Beautiful setting. People fishing off pier. Music from cars riding thru or parked annoying but not overwhelming.

We came and ate our lunch we ordered from Fred’s. It was nice to sit on a warm, sunny day on a bench and enjoy the view while eating a sandwich.

You Swear You Were In An Ocean Town

Head North on Rt 60 off of the NYS Thurway, drive through subsidized housing, and you will be surprised at what a beautiful view of Lake Erie you will find. The beach seems to change depending on the water level. Plenty of places to grab a bit to eat or a drink lakeside. And just a beautiful area. Whether you are traveling East or West from this point, you should really stay off the Thruway and travel Rt 5 to see all that the Lake Erie shoreline has to offer.

Quick stop to see the lake.

Passing thru the area and wanted to make a Lake Erie stop. This was the perfect location. Enjoyed a stroll to some nice shops and was a good break from driving. There were food options available but unfortunately it was not meal time for us.

The new look pier is simply great

Willie Rosas (Mayor) and the team have done a great job getting the pier renovated and renewed. Some great benches, much improved lighting and a nice look and feel.

We strolled around the pier during the week and were surprised how many people were enjoying the new pier which is still accessible to cars

Just a quick afternoon stop.

Just a brief visit on a Thursday afternoon. They were setting up for entertainment later that evening. I am sure that would enhance your visit. But it was nice to read the info about the boats that were lost. Relaxing to just sit for a bit.

Beautiful Pier

Dunkirk Pier is beautiful. The water is very clean. You can fish right off the pier. There are some small shops there. I strongly suggest you eat at Off the Hook restaurant.
