We visited the beach last week AFTER they stopped charging for parking. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Walked to the west and felt we had the whole beach to ourselves.

We visited Smith Point Park on a Friday evening, with friends who live nearby. We ordered lobster rolls from the Beach Hut, which is a better than average snack bar and grill. The lobster rolls were quite good with big chunks of lobster. We ate...More

Beautiful area to relax. It has a beautiful memorial for the airliner that went down in Moriches Bay. Great place to do a little fishing.

The beach hut has good enough food and live music. The beach is a little dirty and the people are a little loud. There are so many beaches that are better that are worth the extra drive.

This place is a dump. It's dirty with dog crap all over. With all the money the county makes they should enforce some rules. Wait we did see the park police riding bikes trying to catch campers drinking. Many of the spots are very small...More
