This zoo is divided into three main areas - a petting / feeding area (not bottles - but rather pellets you buy in a machine - bring change - didn't see any change machines) and a larger area which includes - an Avery; pretty paths; sea lions (which trainers feed). There aren't a lot of animals but this place is... More

Great Zoo in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. I take the kids there often. No rush. No crowds. No stress. Easy way to spend a nice quite afternoon. Good assortment of animals and the kids always love the petting zoo. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The last 2 times we went, there was a volunteer at the bear exhibit who... More

We took kods ages 1-12. It seemed like a very lame zoo with not so many animals. The petting zoo was nice but very little variety of animals

This zoo is small but turned out great for us with our our toddler granddaughter. The admission fee of $8 per adult is reasonable, the total walking distance of about a mile is very manageable, and there are just enough animal exhibits to keep things interesting. The aviary was very good to see some birds including storks and colorful parrots... More

This is a great zoo for kids and adults alike. It's scale is kid friendly and the animals extraordiary. An aviary has birds able to fly around you, and the two bald eagles [outside] are not to be missed!

The small size zoo is perfect for young children. You can get around the whole zoo in a couple of hours. The children's petting and feeding zoo is always a fun time for my kids. I definitely recommend it. I recommend doing the annual membership because your kids will definitely want to go multiple times. It is worth it.

Displays North American Mammals, Birds, exotic farm animals and coyotes that are captured wandering the streets of Manhattan. Strictly for Zoo fans who need it for their Bucket List.

This zoo is very small but they do a good job exhibiting the animals in humane ways that are enriching for the animal and the human visitors. Don't miss the gorgeous aviary which is really a delight to walk around in. They also have an excellent petting zoo for the wee ones so this is really a great outing for... More

Not much here. Very small local zoo. The farm right across is very popular with small kids. And there's a carousel and kids rides nearby as well. Its worth the trip if your with kids and go to all the attractions. Zoo, farm , science center and maybe the Queens museum. All are a few minutes walk.
