Perfect place to enjoy some nature. There's only 8 parking spots and they're numbered. Today was a rainy cloudy day so no it was pretty empty but I heard it gets crowded when its nicer out. There are 2 trails blue and yellow. Blue leads to the marsh and yellow leads to a giant rock lol. To me the hike... More

Constitution marsh is a nice, moderately easy hike that gets you in close to the marsh wildlife next to the mighty Hudson River. Never too crowded, it's a great place to bring the kids for a couple hours, they will love it. The boardwalks above the water are in excellent condition with railings along the way. Go there, well worth... More

It was the third small town we went. My boyfriend chose it as our Valentines Day's dating place and it really amazed me. We went to this trail at dusk so it was ZERO noise. We saw the sunshine lay down on the river and the breeze blow the grass. We lost ourselves in this beautiful place. It is near NY... More

What a beautiful place! Gorgeous views and wildlife with peaceful surroundings. The moderate hike (blue trail) is approximately one mile until you reach the marsh. Once you arrive there are benches where you can sit and enjoy lunch or just take in the beautiful vistas. I can't wait to go back in the fall to see the foliage.

Nice short hike down to the river and then back up over the hills to a boardwalk that goes out in to the marsh. It was a hot day but we were able to stay cool during the hike under the trees, Amazing views from the marsh. Walkway is well constructed and easy to walk on.

Really enjoyed our hike to Constitution Marsh. The road down to the marsh was down a hill so just be aware that what goes down must go up. It was fun walking on the boardwalks looking for wildlife. We saw a muskrat den and some ducks but probably would have had better luck earlier in the morning or early spring... More

What a place! Gorgeous views, spectacular wildlife, and peaceful surroundings to be enjoyed by anyone. Dogs aren't allowed and the trail itself is too steep and rocky for a stroller, but it's a great place for the whole family. Just follow the clearly marked blue trail out to the boardwalk; you won't be disappointed! As others have mentioned, the parking... More

One of my favorite places to hike with my family is in the sweet little town of Garrison, NY, about an hour north of Manhattan (even accessible by public transportation + short taxi ride). Constitution Marsh Audubon Center & Sanctuary is a 270-acre tidal wetland along the Hudson River. After a brief hike through the woods, just enough for little... More

I read article about this place. It is truly worth to pay a visit. This is a hidden jewel. Hiking was fun and both marsh and Indian brook falls were pretty close from parking lot. Our parents were little over 70, but they made this short trip without any problem. Indian brook falls was little bit disappointed but marsh was... More
