I can now understand why CNN traveler marks this as best beach in the world. It is spectacularly beautiful. The ferry ride from mahe to praslin was a bit rough and not so fun but this beach made it all worth it. If you can...More

My husband and I went there early in the morning, so we could put our stuff in a nice place on the beach, in the shadow, under the trees and palms. The beach is so wonderful that it looks unreal and the sea is so...More

Flew to the island by helicopter from Maia. Beach was deserted upon arrival, but was getting quite busy by the time we left (11AM). One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Highly recommend getting here early and you will have the beach to...More

I spent some time in Grand Anse in afternoon and head back to Source D Argent by cycling to see the sunset. There's a lady near entry who collects 100 per person which was a disappointment. Probably only beach in Seychelles which charges a fee...More

Very nice beach, quite typical. Access isn't free, but as long as it helps keeping the beach clean (and it was) and the historical colonial domain in state which you have to go through, I don't have any problem with this. Very good fresh fruits...More

We visited the Anse Source d'Argent in April 2017 during the Easter holidays. There are two ways of getting to the Anse Source d'Argent: per bicycle previously hired from one of the many providers in La Digue, or by foot. From La Passe's jetty it...More

Visited the union estate on our hired bikes saw the famous large tortoises, they are worth seeing. The bay is amazing with the formation of granite boulders with the sand & sea.

Hello, we will be taking the ferry over from Prasline and are wondering the best way to get around La Digue to see the sights and beaches? Are their cabs/car rentals? Is it pretty easy to get around and see the island? Is there a main center with restaurants, shops etc? Trying to figure out the logistics. :) Sincerely, Lynne

Hi Lynne, there is a big bike park place just before entry to the beach. Everyone leaves the bikes there, so you should be fine. There is also a great restaurant just there - handy when you come back famished after a day of... More

Hello guys , I am planning to visit seychelles for 4 days with my husband in early July. I want to do snorkelling, nature hike and beach relaxation on my vacation. There are 4 main attractions which I must want to visit to take beautiful photographs. Anse Source D'Argent, Anse Lazio, Curieuse Island and Valle De Mai. I am planning to stay in Praline Island. Could anyone please guide me how should I plan my trip to get the best out of my vacations. Where to stay in Praline. Which tour company to use for Island hoping to go to La Digue. Should we consider a day tour which cover both main attractions Anse Source D'Argent and Anse Lazio in one day. or best to go on separate days to enjoy it better. Please help me create my itinerary.

Hi, Marco. We will be visiting La Digue soon. What is the entrance fee in Rupees and in Euro's to the beach?

I believe it was 10 euros per person and they give you a ticket so you can go back the same day without paying if you wanted to.
